EEEFC – European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition

Summary (English): The Coalition builds on the Energy Efficiency Financial Institutions Group (EEFIG), initiated in 2013 by the Commission and UNEP FI, which provided key insights on energy efficiency financing. With UNEP FI as a continuing partner, the Coalition aims to strengthen collaboration among the European Commission, public authorities, and stakeholders to enhance the market for energy efficiency investments. This effort supports the mobilization of private funding to meet the EU's 2030 and 2050 energy and climate targets.
